I'm putting together an onboarding curriculum for 25 finance staff who have never used Fabric Plan. Most are comfortable with Excel. None have Power BI experience. Where do I start?

Hands-on practice in a sandbox with sample data is essential before they touch real numbers. The sample semantic model in the user guide is perfect for this.

Start with the Fabric Planning Overview video and the Introduction to Plan doc. Then the user guide sections on creating a planning app, basic interactions, and writeback. Aim for three one-hour sessions before asking them to touch a live plan.

Also worth separating the curriculum: Planners (who enter data) have a simpler learning path than Plan Designers (who build the sheets). Don't overwhelm your data-entry users with model configuration concepts.
