Explain forecast changes with an AI-assisted review

Submitted by Amit Lal ֎ 2 weeks ago 0 upvotes 0 comments

Add a guided “What changed?” experience that compares two forecast versions and explains the main reasons for the movement.
For example, finance should be able to ask: “Why did our profit forecast decrease since last month?” The review should separate changes caused by updated actuals, business assumptions, currency movements, and manual adjustments, with links to the supporting numbers and comments.
AI could draft the explanation, but any unverified causes should be clearly flagged for the planner to confirm. The breakdown should reconcile to the total change.
The goal is to help finance spend less time assembling explanations and more time discussing what to do next.
