Guided SAP-to-Fabric Planning starter kit

Submitted by Amit Lal ֎ 2 weeks ago 1 upvote 1 comment

Provide a downloadable starter kit showing how to build a practical FP&A scenario in Fabric Planning using SAP-style financial and operational data.
Start with one connected example: sales volumes and prices feeding revenue, costs, and profit. Include sample data, account and cost-center mappings, fiscal-period and currency guidance, and checks that reconcile the planning baseline to source actuals.
The walkthrough should demonstrate a monthly forecast, a what-if scenario, and a finance review. Clearly distinguish saving planning results in Fabric from sending an approved plan back to SAP.
The goal is a reusable learning and implementation accelerator—not just a dashboard demonstration.

the Workload "Business Process Solution" was promising to give at least a headstart on a "semantic" SAP connect , but it became quiet around it. Would be ok (for me) if the standard connect requires SAP BDC Business Data Cloud as this supports shortcuts to Fabric as I understood
