Can users switch between Matrix and Chart view on the same data?

Our finance team does a lot of ad-hoc digging in one Intelligence Sheet. Half of them want rows and numbers, the other half want to see the trend visually. Right now I'm maintaining both views, and every time a filter or measure changes I have to update two things.

Is there a way to let viewers flip between the Matrix and a chart view on the fly? If so, what is the recommended approach to implement this?

Hello Benjamin,

Yes, you can do this by using an Action parameter - Toggle. The actions parameter let you run a script when a button is clicked or a toggle is done in the parameter section. You can use the toggle to visually hide/unhide the visual(chart/table) by using the script SHOW_VISUAL(matrix)/HIDE_VISUAL(Chart). You can learn more about the action parameters from this video - https://community.fabricplan.com/videos/configure-action-parameter-in-microsoft-fabric-plan/

You can overlay both the visuals and let the user toggle between the view that they would like to see.
