I have an Intelligence sheet which shows the P&L statement and I have filters on company and region. I am going to export my matrix to an excel sheet to share with my users according to the region and company. How can i have the company and region selected in the exported excel sheet?

The values selected in the Superfilters can be added to the Header or footer section of the Matrix which can then be exported to Excel. You can do this by clicking on the Header settings to edit the Header. Next, click on the "+" icon to see a dropdown list with various options and select the Slicer and the corresponding slicer value to be included as part of the Header.

Now values in the header will change as the filter is changed. When the matrix is exported to excel/pdf it would display the filter selected at the time of export.

Similarly, you can add other elements like Date, Pagination, company logo, symbols, etc. The header and footer can be formatted with formatting options like Bold, Italics, Border and multiple sections can be added to the header or footer.

The header approach sorted the labelling, Thanks. Following on from this, once the header is set I export the full P&L and it comes out as one long block. Can Intelligence Sheet insert a separate page per company or region in the matrix itself so the Excel/PDF splits cleanly by group, rather than me separating manually after export?

Glad to know you were able to add the filter selection in the header.

Regarding your question about having each region/company in a different page - Yes, you can absolutely do that by using the Page Break option. You can insert a page break based on either a row dimension, column dimension or by inserting a break row at the desired location. This would split the report into multiple pages, one for each of the regions/companies. When you export the report, each of the page will be exported as a different sheet in Excel which you can easily share with your users. You can also adjust the header to show the corresponding company/region on each page.
