This article explains how to connect to a database for collaboration from a Plan item. The connection is optional and allows viewers to collaborate on the plan.
Prerequisite#
You have access to Planning sheets.
Create a connection to a database for collaboration#
Select the Set up connection.
Select Create Connection to create a Fabric SQL Connection or select an existing connection.
Select Create new connection from the Connection credentials dropdown.
Enter a Connection name .
Select Authentication kind as Organizational account.
Select Create.
A database connection is created to store collaboration data.
Share the database connection #
You can share the created connection and manage the user permissions. Click Manage users .
Next to the name of the connection in your Fabric workspace, select ... and Manage users .
Edit the permissions and share as needed.
