Scripting functions

Scripting functions let you configure and automate custom actions on a plan item during its initial load, when its data changes, or when you select a button or toggle. For example, you can display a specific sheet on an item's initial load, display custom messages, show or hide one or more measures, or set a layout in response to these events.

Use scripting functions while configuring action parameters to define the actions you want to execute in response to the events.

Some scripting functions operate at the ROOT level of the plan item, while others operate at the planning sheet level. The following sections describe each scripting function with examples.
