Add a hierarchy filter

Use the hierarchy filter to browse and filter hierarchical data through expandable levels. Expand or collapse parent members and select values at any level to quickly narrow the report to the required subset of data.

Configure a hierarchy filter#

Use hierarchy filters to navigate and select categories from multiple hierarchy levels.

1. Add a Super Filter visual.
2. Assign a hierarchical dimension to the Category bucket.
3. In the Filter ribbon, select Hierarchy from Quick Mode.

4. In the Filter ribbon, go to Properties to apply customizations, such as tile selection method or appearance.
